The Girl with the Pearl Headband

We gals all share the same dream of feeling like a princess for a day on our wedding. Today's princess has retired her tiara and opted for some more fashionable headgear.

What will sit atop your regal tresses come wedding day? Perhaps lovely adornments such as headbands, pins, clips, brooches. Or for the more statement making bride, how about this magnificent draped pearl headpiece?

DIY brides - who will take challenge to make something equally as dream worthy!

Lovely inspiration! I'm having a fairytale influenced wedding theme, haven't bought a tiara yet, and thinking of DIY-ing my hair accessory.

Grace- do you have any idea who this headpiece is from? I'm styling a 1920s shoot early next week and would love to pull it from the designer... thanks!

You know, I think going a bit nontraditional on a wedding would be pretty cool :).

it's a vintage necklace from Toronto. how creative! Necklace as a headpiece!

This is lovely! I have seen many necklaces worn as headpieces, and if done correctly, it can be unique and beautiful. Or you can string your own design, which I have seen someone do. Either way, for your wedding day, you will have something original!
